About Daniela
I have moved to California in 1995. I am originally from Italy, although I am naturalized and proud US citizen since January 2007! I have started my photography business in 2000, it’s been a great adventure and it is getting better and better… As technology evolves so quickly nowadays, it is a challenge to keep the pace, but also very exciting cause the stimulation is endless and ideas just keep on coming, keeping my job fun and creative…
I blend romance, style and photojournalism, I aim to capture your true self, the passion, the emotions, the energy and every detail of your special day.I am a friendly, passionate, creative and committed photographer, determined to create for you unforgettable images.
Often people ask me how I got into photography. I like to tell the story as it has quite a casual start… More then 10 years ago I spent three days in Amsterdam. I completely fell in love with its streets, buildings and canals.. and it’s atmosphere, of a quiet village although filled with colors and friendly people. I like these places where you don’t feel the sign of modern times so evident (like the metropolitan cities filled with traffic, people rushing and not always in a good mood). At that time I had a common point and shoot camera and I was just a typical tourist walking the streets in awe. Once back in California, I picked up the photographs from my trip and watching the scenes reproduced in the paper, I didn’t experience the same emotion I felt while shooting… I reminded myself of objects that had caught my attention and hadn’t dreamed of photographing (a door knob, a street lamp) and felt that I had missed to capture those fascinating moments… Something clicked in my head and somehow started to look at the world around me with different eyes.. all the objects, landscapes around me spoke to me in a different way, it was just like my eyes had become a camera, and I was constantly looking for something to ‘frame’… This constant ‘hunger’ for something to photograph changed the way I looked at life as well.. There was always beauty around me, always something positive to emphasize… Photography changed my life, made me a happier person and finally able to express myself. I new something was waiting for me in all my previous years of wondering and not knowing, and when I gave in to ‘door knobs’ it all came clear!

By the way, I found you on twitter. I’m a photographer in Loveland, CO.
Keep up the great work.
