I can’t believe it’s been 10 days since I blogged! With the Christmas Specials in full speed it’s hard to find time to sit at the computer these days. Also, there are so many of Melanie and Ben’s photos I wanted to post that it took me a few hours to skim through all the images and select a first batch for their wedding preview. So here it goes: we started shooting at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco, and I was happy to know Melanie had booked their Presidential Suite cause the natural light is just amazing on the top floor!

The ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Ignatius Church, their bridal waiting room it’s so romantic and despite the low light we took many photos waiting for the ceremony to start…

It’s time for the ceremony to begin, unfortunately St. Ignatius has strict rules and don’t allow photographers to be near the altar so our movements where a bit restricted, so we had to be even more inventive. Nellie Guerrero, my second shooter took the balcony spot, few wide angle shots will be included in the slideshow, here’s just a few key moments of the ceremony.

Melanie and Ben opted to go straight to the reception site after the ceremony and formal photos at the altar. We will be shooting a ‘we did it’ session in a couple of weeks, where there will be plenty of time for photos of the newlyweds! And here’s the awesome room at the Pacific Athletic Club in Redwood Shores where all the fun took place, the room was filled with energy and emotional moments.

The Money Dance is always a fun opportunity for precious candids. And here’s one I captured of Nellie who I wanna thank for all her enthusiasm, energy and talent! Check out her website and work!

The Season for Holiday Portraits has oficially started at Daniela Degrassi Photography. Hannah is always one of the first of my regulars during the Christmas Season. Last year we took pictures at Stanford University, this time we choose the Pulgas Water Temple to be our shooting location. And this year Hannah came up with a few ideas for poses.. she is definitely growing up

Here’s what I have been up to recently while in London… I met Malin, a young american working until next summer at Westminster. Malin took me for a tour inside the amazing building and we had a change to take a few photographs inside Westminster and the charming little Chapel of St. Mary’s  Undercroft.

Malin’s friends Alex and Sam joined us for some time during our shoot. A photo opportunity to remember, years from now, Malin’s good times while working in Europe.

The photo opportunities in London are endless… Too bad the rain got the best of us just when we were getting warm.. well, we managed to find places to shoot even underground! Mind the Gap!
