I am so excited to announce we have a new logo at Daniela Degrassi Photography! With the launch of the new website a while back I really felt the need of a new, more elegant branding. My graphic designer Nadia Andreini and I went through mutliple tests and combined elements from my website design to this edgier font that represents my need to explore a more modern look. I love it, I hope you do too!

This week I paid a visit to my friend Ken Delbeek from Studio in Bloom that graciously sponsored our Venice shoot with her beautiful clay flowers. That bouquet survived two overseas trips and it’s still looking brand new!!! Brides who plan destination weddings (and not only!) should really have a talk with Ken Ken offers many more beautiful ideas for weddings and parties so I decided to  bring my new Mark II 5D along  with me to take more photos of her amazing work. I love shooting still life! I shot everything in natural light in Ken’s livingroom, using high ISO settings. Take a look at these adorable photo or placemat clip holders!

Another great idea for wedding keepsakes: order clay bridesmaid bouquets and have them keep it as a memory of your wedding day…

October is always the busiest time of the year for me.. Not only I will be photographing many wonderful fall weddings but it’s also the perfect time for Holiday Photos… before the weather turns for the worst make sure you find some time for those special memories… I have only few spaces left for this years Christmas Special.. call soon to take advantage of the special discount only good from Oct. 20th through Oct. 31st.

In the elegant settings of the Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco I photographed Victoria for this Bridal Boudoir Portrait. I am launching this fantastic service for brides to make their new husband’s wedding night even more memorable… that a great gift for him! These photographic layout will be treasured in a sophisticated Magazine Style Album that is already the most successful and prestigious product among all my wedding clients.

I enjoyed playing around a few filters editing the images of beautiful Valeria. I thought it added a more sophisticated look to the scene. The surroundings are very important to maintain a stylish and classy feel. Since our ‘playground’ was a small apartment in Rome, I decided to focus more on Valeria’s body and diffuse the atmosphere as much as possible with the filters.
